Flexible is a Choice

Spice of Life What does it take to being flexible on the road of life especially when change is at an all time high? Well, for many the simple task of walking will transform the body and mind thus ingraining a "flexible mindset".    Of course, put your phone away or keep on silent.  Allow yourself to hear your own thoughts and unleash your creative side or solve issues.   During the last year and a half, I have been walking with my husband and friends.  We have discovered new places, trails, wildlife, foliage, and forged friendships.  We have been accepting, evolving and creating new elements in our lives.  Along the journey, we have all strengthened our bodies and fueled our minds with conversation while admiring nature and embracing connection.  We became flexible with what we were able to do on a daily basis.    Throughout the Covid 19 pandemic, we have had an opportunity to get off the hamster wheel and adjust our lives accordingly.  For some, the adjustment was hard, and

Mom Jeans - Oh NO

Just Say It Isn't So! "I wish I had invented blue jeans. They have expression, modesty, sex appeal, simplicity- all I hope for in my clothes." Yves Saint Laurent "Mom Jeans"   are making a powerful comeback in 2021.  I remember women wearing "Mom Jeans" in the day and am stunned that women are slipping down this road again.  The term "Mom Jeans" originated in the in the late 1980's and early 1990's. They were worn by mom's and considered unhip by the youth.  A friend of mine recently asked, "What exactly are Mom Jeans?"   Typically, "Mom Jeans" are higher waisted than the high waist style, often in a light denim wash, creating a longer and flatter hind end.  There is extra fabric throughout and can emphasize a pouch if you have one. The fit is snug at the waist, sometimes with a waist band with a loose and unfitted leg.  Think of pajama pants only with extra fabric at the top.  The next requirement is to

Yellow Mania in Apparel

Sunny Infused Delight This Spring and Summer I am completely obsessed with yellow.  I cannot get enough of this high-spirited hue that brightens my day.  Whether I am noticing the sun or the glowing iridescent flowers in my backyard, I am transfixed.   When researching upcoming apparel topics, yellow is everywhere online and instore.  Perhaps this is because after months of negative energy, commentaries, tragedy with the virus or only plain ole gray skies, we need a touch of warmth and glittering gold.  "Follow the Yellow Brick Road" "How You Enter the World - Says Everything About You"  In fact, people are craving warmth, positive comments, peace, hope and coming together. At least I am.  The yellow synergistic vibe of yesteryear is slowly to be resurrected.  The best path is to build a yellow brick road by adding something golden to your wardrobe.   It could be as subtle as a yellow barrette or earrings.   Furthermore, a yellowish touch makes you smile and spea

Majestic - Tee-Shirts

Zebra Magic "And they lived happily ever after."  Every fashionista requires white and black tee-shirts in their wardrobe destined for an appointment, daily activities, or a video online call.  Pair with jeans, shorts, nice pants, jackets, scarves, belts, pumps, boots, or sneakers.   White and black is classic, memorable, and easy to assemble.   Zebra's - White & Black Marvel In nature, white and black Zebras are one of the most magnificent creatures in Africa.  Their stripes when combined in a herd, provide coverage from predators.  Adversaries cannot single out one Zebra because the eye is confused.  Imagine everything green and lush in vibrant hues, with the Zebra overshadowing the environment.  It is breathtaking.  Moreover, each Zebra has its own special print, similar to our thumbprints, which makes them especially unique.   And, their coats help to keep them cool under the Serengeti sun.    What does this have to do with tee-shirts? Well, nothing really.  Oth
