Red - The Hue of Love

All the World Needs is Love -  Lets start with Red Lips and a Smile! Now more than ever we need love in our world instead of hate.  Hate is prevalent and it seems to be growing creating sorting and isolation.  We need to watch our words, think about what how we communicate verbally and written and always strive to be a figure of  grace, wit and kindness.  Strident words in communication of any sort can only lead to misery to the person creating the dissertation.  Recognize tragedy but lead with a firm hand of resolution and strength.  Which leads me to my favorite color red that signifies - love.   We are lost as people and as a nation without love, kindness, thoughtfulness and understanding .  Thus, my adventure with the color red has always been front and center in my life. I have worn red lipstick with red nails forever.  It is a signature look for me that I adore even though my mother constantly told me not to wear red lipstick. Of course, I didn't listen.   In 20

Kindness - The Kindness Movement

The World is Beautiful. Kindness is Learned. Are you kind? Do you live your life helping and believing in others? Or do you get caught up in chaos and in events that you have no control? Does this lead to frustration and anger? Do you realize that you have no control and are wasting your energy and your life?   Do you cut off friends and family because they do not live the way you do or have the same beliefs? Are you letting evil win? I recently saw A Star is Born (2018)   starring Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga.  It was a mesmerizing film and a must see.  Also, Oscar bound for Best Movie, Best Actor, Best Actress and Best Director.  Thus, I was thinking about a video that Lady Gaga put out with the Dalai Lama on "kindness" .    When Bradley Cooper met Lady Gaga for the first time he was struck by her kindness.  "She is kind", he stated.   I think this is a wonderful way to be described - kind .   Wouldn't it be wonderful if all of us could

Hear Me Roar!  Red Lips, Black, White, Grey and Silent Secret Weapon - Animal Print! Your apparel, your appearance and your character does matter.  Your personal style is a powerful tool of communication.  People will make an impression of you within 30 seconds of meeting you.  So why not put your best foot forward and make an effort to appear presentable?  Now more than ever how you dress, what you wear, how you present yourself is so important.  You can think it doesn't but it does.  Duchess Megan of Sussex has transformed herself from being an actress into presenting herself as formidable, regal woman befitting her new role.   Meghan, like Duchess Kate of Cambridge, knows that standing tall, sporting a smile with simple and elegant apparel sends a lasting message of  "I respect myself and I respect the event and the people attending."  You will never find these two women wearing jeans with holes, sloppy coats or no makeup to an event or to a form

Bracelet's - The Circle of Life

Add Fairy Dust, Hope & Love Fall is a Glorious Time With the changing of the seasons, fall apparel and jewelry take center stage.  The time has come once again to store summer shorts, tee shirts and bring out sweaters, boots and so much more.  However, jewelry always remains in style and constant. Recently while out and about I stumbled upon several gorgeous bracelets. Bracelets either alone or stacked add fairy dust and happiness to any outfit.  I started thinking about the shape of a bracelet and perhaps how it could be symbol for hope and love.  The circle shape of a simple bracelet in gold, silver or any hue reminds me of the circle of life.  And, the circle of life is love.  Today, when the world is topsy turvy, emotions are high, selfishness is paramount sprinkled with greed, lust and envy it is pertinent to wear something that reflects the meaning of life.  A circle embodies the journey that all of us are blessed and lucky to partake.  Instead of filling the
