Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex - Last Royal Waltz

Smiling in the Rain! Once Royal and Puff Celebrities!   Meghan has graced her presence in the United Kingdom this last week after the sudden departure in January 2020.  What a splash of fashion she has made across the globe.   Her attire, smile and presence has brightened everyone's spirits while we constantly read or hear about the vicious virus tainting our days.  Not to downplay the seriousness of the illness but it is refreshing to focus on joy for a moment. The happiness between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex soon to be called Harry and Meghan is readily apparent in every photo. They have morphed into star powered celebrities right before our eyes.  Their glow was effervescent, and the loss of the House of Windsor has jolly well been replaced with good ole American celebrity fame.  The Firm for these two will be sorrowfully remembered as a fairy tale that went south.  Once promising with VIP's, celebrities in attend...

Prince Harry - The New Harry

The People's Prince Many around the world will bow their heads for a moment this March when Prince Harry completes his final engagements for his grandmother Queen Elizabeth II.  Perhaps it is the worse fear of every parent to watch their child make dramatic changes to ones life especially when closing the door of connection to all of them.   Last week Gayle King on CBS This Morning , stated that after Prince Harry joins the Royal Family Commonwealth Service at Westminster Abbey on March 9th,  the world will now call him Harry effective on March 31st.  King's tone was solemn while shuffling her papers.  Only can only think that the disappointment will be tremendous for those loved left behind.  Let's step back and reflect on Princess Diana, Prince Harry's incredible and broken mother for a moment.  Princess Diana was beloved around the globe and was known as The People's Princess .  I have followed her since she and I ...

"It's Complicated." - Queen Elizabeth II

Kindness Movement Reigns "The biggest royal star is the Queen - followed by her son and heir Prince Charles and then his eldest son and heir Prince William.  They are the constitutional future of the Monarchy, not Meghan and Harry." Piers Morgan Has the world gone mad? Did Alice go down the rabbit hole and is stuck in a wonderland where the central figure is her? The "All About Me" movement is at an all time high.  It is sad, terrible and at the center of so much these days.  The loss of manners, etiquette, respect for institutions or elders are gone with the blustery winter wind.  Instead the following mantra's litter every media form: "My opinion is the only opinion."  "My way or the highway." "I am right and you are wrong."  "No need to be a critical thinker after all I know everything already."   "Curious? Why would I be?"   Since when do any of us think that we are truly above it a...

Meghan Markle & Prince Harry Married - May 19, 2018

All Hail Duke and Duchess of Sussex On May 19, 2018, 1B people around the world stopped for a few hours and took in the beautiful wedding of Meghan Markle, American to Prince Harry held at St. George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, England.  I was one of the many watching from the comfort of my home at 2:30 a.m.  Yes, it was indeed an epic day sprinkled with lush flowers, exalted fashion, open carriage, military, horses, celebrities, royalty, Queen Elizabeth II and the people in Windsor sporting expressions of enthusiasm and excitement.  Thankfully, no stiff or newspaper seeking politicians or dignitaries as requested by Prince Harry.  Thus, a thoroughly modern, refreshing and a bit of a madcap wedding with moments that brought tears, joy and yes, even surprise when a 2 minute sermon requested by Queen Elizabeth II went on for 13 minutes. The reaction of the wedding attendees was a sight to behold.  Alas, Prince Harry will never be king so let ...

Royal Wedding - Dresses for You!

Image
The Frock of the Moment May 19th is hours away from the wedding of the year to commence between American born Meghan Markle and across the pond royal, Prince Henry.  It will indeed be quite exciting with 1B people watching with delight and happiness from around the world.   The fashion, the people, the celebrities, the royals, the horses, the carriage, Queen Elizabeth II and so much more.  Yesterday, while shopping with a girlfriend for her wedding dress, we stumbled upon a dress collection by Chiara Boni La Petite Robe that is simply divine.  In fact, I do believe the commentators on The Today Show this a.m. were sporting frocks similar to this brand.  Ms. Markle above in the photograph is wearing a dress by Roland Mouret that sings the same silhouette.   Bottom line, these dresses are elegant, minimal and extremely flattering.  Additionally, for a royal wedding shoulders must always be covered accompanied by a fashionator, go...
