I hope you all are having a beautiful and wonderful summer.  The sunshine is gorgeous though the heat can be a bit too much if you live in the Pacific Northwest.  I am looking forward to a spell of rain after 48 days of extraordinary dry and hot conditions.  Plants have been crispy fried; grass is yellow, and the air is stagnant. We need a rain dance to stamp out the fires east of the mountains, squash the smoke in Lake Chelan and cool off the mountains and our homesteads.  

This summer reminds me that I am not a fan of months on end of endless sunshine and heat. Some of my friends adore and bask in glistening rays with blue skies every day.  They soak it up like candy. For me, bouts of rain plus varied seasons make me happy. Nor is my skin a fan of the sunshine and scorching heat.  And par for the course, I have broken out with heat hives several times this season which are a nuisance.  Pray stop.  Enough about the heat, sun, and rashes!  The cold will come.  Be patient!

Have you all had a chance to check out the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?  Most of the items in my previous post, Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2021, have sold out.  It pays to have good taste! However, if you do not own a North Face coat, I highly recommend picking one up at this sale.  I purchased mine at the last years sale and wore the number non-stop during the late fall and winter months.  A wise investment indeed.

Also, comes in Grey or Black. The comments state it runs large. Order down one size. The green may be darker than the photo per comments.   I like the idea of green coat versus another black item in my closet. 

This is about it for The North Face coats at this sale. The shorter version is sold out.  Get shopping if you need a coat for the icy days to come.  Stay safe and cool while enjoying the summery weather and the dog days of summer.
