Lululemon Dress - A Nantucket Vibe
Beachy!
A must-own dress for summer. I purchased a similar dress from Lululemon four or five years ago. On a recent visit to Lululemon in Bellevue Square, a friend of mines daughter, mentioned a dress on one of the racks similar to the one I own in light grey. Thus, the three of us shopping together snapped it up in the olive color. It runs large so go down one size. It is perfect for throwing on after working out, after swimming on a beach or for daily errands. I wore with my Greats tennis shoes yesterday, which by the way are so comfortable.
The Dress
I am calling it my Nantucket East Coast vibe frock. Why? Well, I just finished, The Hotel Nantucket by Elin Hilderbrand. It is a lively and fun summer read that is light, entertaining and keeps you on your toes until the finale. The story is about the inner workings of a hotel and the people who make everything happen when we stay at a hotel. I cannot believe some people leave their rooms in complete disarray for the staff to clean. It was sort of gross to know people live like pigs in a trough, while on vacation. However, the book is wonderfully spiced with twists, love trysts, a ghost, drama, and everything that a "summer read" requires to take us to a different locale. I loved it. By the way, Hilderbrand, at the end of the book has a mini-travel guide for Nantucket, Massachusetts on where to stay, eat, which beaches to visit and so forth.
Note: Summer Reads are fictional novels that enlighten, are drama enhanced, witty, with developed and likeable characters, with changing and learning to be better people, charming and usually situated in a beachy resort town. They are not Tolstoy or Fitzgerald. Just saying. After all, being inspired and swept away to a beautiful locale is escapism at its finest. What is wrong with that? Nothing. Enjoy your life!
While finishing this book, I purchased my new Lululemon dress and thought, this would be perfect at a beachy resort town. Thus, the Nantucket Vibe name was created by me for the ultimate dress noted for anytime and especially on vacation.

DeleteCute. I recently picked up the spanx mock t dress. Ii thought it was a little weird…that spankpx was into clothing now. But just wanted to try it (and test drive it for a spring trip to london). It definitely did not disappoint. I got it in black and found it works with my supergas (I pretty much only wear these and have four pairs 😂) sandals, boots—everything. Dries fast and never wrinkles. And pockets!
