Have you heard of the ready-to-wear fashion brand Veronica Beard?  If not, you are about too.  Veronica Beard is named after two sister-in-laws married to brothers who love fashion.  They developed a line of clothing that is feminine, tailored and meant for women's daily activities whether off to a high powered job, meeting girlfriends for lunch or racing off to an event.  The apparel takes minutes to assemble and sophisticated outfit.  The line originally began in 2010 with the launch of the Dickey Jacket.  The Dickey Jacket is the cornerstone of your wardrobe, according to the Beards.  You can zip in pieces for a different look or treat as a normal jacket.  The Dickey Jacket is what I noticed first in-store more for the cut and style versus the idea of zipping in fabric for a different look.   The overall slim fit, superb tailoring with an edgy twist attracted my eye.  As a fan of the Theory brand, and a believer in owning the perfect jacket, the Veronica Beard jackets are a pleasant surprise.  The brand to date has expanded and includes jeans and shoes.  For this report, let's focus on creating the ultimate ensemble.  We will combine with the Majestic layering brand.  Majestic tops are a must, soft, well constructed and will last over 100 washes, which makes these the perfect choice for under a jacket or alone.   Finally, finishing with a sublime scarf and Everlane's The Boss Boot. 

Remember why spend money on clothing that will not last for years.  Seems so pointless and a waste of coin to purchase mounds of cheap clothing when after a season ends up in the garbage and landfills or burned.  I always lean toward selecting a few pieces rather than multitudes of apparel that are here today and gone with the wind tomorrow.  You work hard for your money so why not invest wisely and look unforgettable.  Are you ready?
