Cardigan Sweater for Fall

Crisp Air, Change of Weather - Fall is Coming

The Cardigan

Links Included!

There is a crisp breeze in the air as fall peers around the corner.  The leaves are beginning to change and dusk is coming earlier.  I hope everyone had a wonderful summer filled with laughter, beauty, friends and family.   For me, my summer was filled with three weddings that were all special and unique.  We went on many walks, dealt with smoke from fires, loss of my favorite cat, Anna and saw friends and family.  It was overall a wonderful summer.  I have been a bit lax on writing my blog but have found an exceptional cardigan sweater for the upcoming months.  Imagine a comfortable cardigan sweater wrapped around you while watching football, doing errands, going out or draping yourself in warmth at your office or work space.  Combine with denim, boots, camisole or my favorite Majestic tees and jewelry.  I ordered the dusty pink and am going to order a few more. Finish off the look with your favorite lipstick.  Why Mac of course!

We ourselves are accustomed to celebrating in the islands viewing a parade, taking walks, wildlife adventures, exquisite dinners and viewing incredible fireworks that fill the sky.  Though this is year is unique, never fret.
We have an opportunity to slip back in time and create an old fashioned Fourth of July at home.  Many of you are wondering what to do.  Well, think back to when you were little.  What did you do then?
Growing up in the Northwest, we had sparklers, black snakes, and fountains to light off in the driveway. We attended barbecues with family or friends and watched…

Life is a Gift

A River Called Life

"Life is a precious gift.  Use your day wisely."

Life is a river.  A thriving, glorious flowing body of water that twists and turns filled with fish, beavers, small creatures, birds, eagles, violent eddies, rough waters, and calm pools. Or in our case as human beings doing the best they can as they spend each day rambling down the river of life.  An actual river flows downhill from the force of gravity.  The waters can be wide and deep or shallow to walk across.  This river can be called a stream, creek, or brook.  A once serene rushing river can turn into a flooding nightmare covering land, filling houses, and changing landscapes.  Just like humanity spinning towards the unknown.
Life can be tranquil at moments and then burst into a storm of anger, disbelief, or tragedy.   A life is easily compared to a roaring river as transitions in our world are extremely rapid.  It can be difficult for the human mind to assess what has transpired.   The result is be…
