Somewhere Over the Rainbow
According to Punxsutawney Phil, we the nation have six more weeks of winter. And, for us Northwesterners, February continues on as a wet and grey month. Thus, one tends to seek out light filled places or jet away on a plane to the desert. On the other hand, all the projects needed to be done are suddenly easily rendered since it is better to be indoors tackling the latest endeavor. Perhaps the rain, wind and elements spark the artist, the writer, the creator, the inventor the dreamer and the doer as outdoor time is indeed limited. During these stormy though inventive prone days add a bright shade of yellow, red, green or blue for a smile. Of course, don't be surprised to see lots of black, grey, white and brown with boots and a trench coat on local natives. Yet, if one looks closely there just might be a rainbow pair of earrings or a hint of mustard yellow breaking up the monotony of pitter patter against the window panes. All and all the weather will be brighter soon and dreams can come true. The sun will come out and the days will lengthen. In the meantime, here are a few over the rainbow choices for the wintry days to come.
