New Years Affirmation: Tech gadgets - Put Away - Become Present
Yes, we love those tech gadgets from our smart phones, computers, ipads, surface, fit-bits and the list goes on and on. We have become addicted to checking are gadgets all day long as if we will miss something. Sending texts, answering calls at all hours and basically keeping in touch with a computer is a false connection. You cannot see another emotions, hear a voice with inflection and instead are communicating with a computer. When we are out to dinner we check our phones, we text, we take selfies or we photograph every move and we posting the photos to all social media available. Did you know that you actually miss the moment by documenting every move you make? Or that the moment can be a bit lost with several posed photos? Now, I for one love to document moments and post to social media. Yet, sometimes wouldn't it be better to put the tech gadget away (bottom of handbag) and enjoy each other the old fashioned way - talking to one another and being present. Yes, be present and embrace the moment. The memory will remain forever.
III. Striking Jewelry: Adding a gorgeous necklace around a neck can brighten the face and emphasize creamy skin.
