August is here and the last days of summer are  upon the land with blistering heat and a myriad of travel plans to sunny paradise locations. Or last minute cocktail parties, date night and family reunions where a gorgeous piece is a must for the event or barbeque.  Thus the bright yellow orb in the sky demands fashionistas across the land to slip on a feminine floaty dress with a 50's vibe.  Recently, True Detective (2015) actress Rachel McAdams wore a beautiful frock from MINKPINK an Australian fashion brand.  I  adore the concoction draped on Ms. McAdams as she floated effortlessly down a street on a sun drenched day with a knowing smile, snappy sunglasses and gorgeous dress.

Minkpink entered the fashion scene in 2005 for ladies looking for fresh designs with a twist of vintage in apparel. The quirky and eclectic pieces are fun and will not break the bank.  Created in Sydney, Australia by designer Rachel Evans the line became the top youth brand in just five years. This dress hits the mark for women of all ages.  The essential mix of pretty printed fabric and just enough skin to add a bit of mystery.  The lacy bra and wedges add to the ensemble though flats would also be extra charming.
