Spring has arrived and now is the perfect time to clean out the closet.  Purge clothing that doesn't fit, stow away heavy cashmere sweaters, boots, heavy wool coats and other cold weather items.   Of course, when it comes to jeans, take a moment and go through them with a thorough examination.  Some might be worn out, shrunk, faded or do not fit properly.  Get rid of them.  Recently, on an excursion to a small boutique called Posh, in Lake Chelan, Washington, a display of dark blue jeans attracted attention.  The jean leggings were by a brand called Liverpool Jeans Company. There were several styles, however the leggings stood out in the deepest blue with an unusual high waist.  The jeans were comfortable, stretchy, enhanced curves and fit like a glove instead of the constantly pulling up of the low rise affairs.  The midsection was sleek and smooth adding to the find.  More importantly, the cost was $79! The name Liverpool Jeans Company brought images to mind of Liverpool, The Beatles, London, Princess Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge....

    

 

First of the all the cost is unheard of in the world of jeans.  The average pair is often over $100 - $200 or more.  Jeans come in a variety of styles, hues and fits.   For more information on jeans check out Forever Chic Style blog "All-Hail - The Jean Junkie" .   The Liverpool Jeans are constructed of high quality fabrics hug a woman's silhouette and are fairly priced.  The 25 and older set are going to be in heaven.  For instance, the latest trend in jeans are mid waist and high waist jeans that are seen on celebrities.  Sophia Vergara has the curves of the mature woman and Elle Macpherson is glorious in a high waist pair of jeans.  Frankly, mid rise and high waist jeans are off the charts flattering than their low rise cousins.   Perhaps only twenty year olds or teenagers can truly rock the low rise?
