Oscar Fashion Flashback 2013 - Get Ready - 86th Academy Awards - March 2, 2014
Lights, Camera and Action!
Last year's 85th Academy Awards fashion ladies lined the red carpet with column fitted gowns in hues of metallic glitter, soft shades of blush, beckoning blues and vivid reds. Next Sunday, March 2, 2014, Ellen DeGeneres, once again takes the helm and hosts the annual 86th Academy Awards event that reaches more television worldwide viewers than on any other night. Not only are audiences and actors waiting with baited breath for an Oscar win, but also all the camera's lens and eyes will be focused on the red carpet drama for the evening soiree. In 2013, Jessica Chastain, nominated for Best Actress in a Dramatic role for Zero Dark Thirty, was the Forever Chic Style Queen of the night in a coppery Armani Prive. The fashion A-listers this year are bound to take center stage with screen siren glamour that will be at an all time high with the likes of Angelina Jolie, Amy Adams, Anne Hathaway, Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Lupita Nyong'o, Julia Roberts, Margot Robbie, Jennifer Lawrence and many more. Let's take a step down memory lane and review the chosen few selected for the Forever Chic Style awards from the 85th Academy Awards affair held on Sunday, February 24, 2013. And, the winner goes too....

Forever Chic Style - The Lady in Waiting
Top of the Forever Chic Style list though not the Queen!
The Lovely & Talented
"Amy Adams"
Amy Adams “Ripple of Powder-Blue Envy”: Adams, nominated for an Actress in a Supporting Role for The Master, made a grand entrance on the red carpet in an opulent Oscar de la Renta ball gown. The powder-blue shade with a sweetheart neckline was sublime against flawless skin, with minimal jewelry, a sleek updo of red hair with blue eyes. The strapless frock with the billowing fabric was magical and light on the red carpet versus the seemingly heavy fabric of Lawrence’s concoction. Adams wore the Marie Antoinette show stopping gown with grace and effortless style.

Forever Chic Style - The Queen of the 85th Academy Awards Soiree
Effortlessly confident, intelligent, sophisticated elegance, poise and manners
in other words - a Screen Siren Lady
The "Veronica Lake" Movie Star
"Jessica Chastain"
Jessica Chastain: “Jessica Rabbit Copper-Dipped Silhouette”
Chastain’s coppery Armani Prive was heavenly compatible to the red hair and luminous complexion. The figure fitting silhouette emphasized a gorgeous curvaceous figure with bright red lips completing the Jessica Rabbit va va voom picture. Thank you! Many had makeup that was boring and oh so everyday. Red lips add drama and is perfectly Forever Chic Style for a black tie event. Chastain, nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role - Zero Dark Thirty was center stage with the overall ensemble. All cameras flashed, heads turned and suddenly the Hollywood fashionistas of yesteryear were once again recognized in Chastain’s brilliant entrance onto the red carpet. Rita, Audrey, Ava, Lana and Veronica would all be proud. A Forever Chic Style - Queen strolled down the red carpet .

Forever Chic Style - The Frumpy Frog Queen
Missed the fashion memo!
She has style, she has taste but not this time!
"Anne Hathaway"
Anne Hathaway: "The Prom Perky Mistake” For shame Hathaway! Dumping a Valentino gown for this disastrous pink Prada concoction, which eagerly emphasized a chilly night. Last year, Angelina Jolie, captivated the world with the pose and “the leg”. Instead in 2013, Hathaway’s poor choice in a dress created an instance sensation focusing on the bosom. Hathaway, unsuitably attired in a pink prom dress, won the Oscar for Actress in a Supporting Role for Les Miserables. The award was well deserved, yet the gown overshadowed the night. Sadly, this fashionista diva missed the mark and fashion fans truly were disappointed. Remember in 2011, the eight gorgeous frocks that were unforgettable. Yes, the Valentino gown was slightly similar to Amanda Seyfried’s, but guaranteed Hathaway would have been Queen of the ball in Valentino! There is always next year!

"The most important thing to remember is that you can wear all the greatest clothes and all the greatest shoes, but you’ve got to have a good spirit on the inside. That’s what’s really going to make you look like you’re ready to rock the world."
