Spring and Summer fashion for the last 3 years has remained classically refined from yesteryear, while drenched in sunshine hues, blistering whites, subtle creams and pink berry tones.   Clothing is charmingly reflected in the television hit series Mad Men, Downton Abbey, or in the 2011 hit films, The Help, The Artist and Midnight in Paris.  It is delightfully refreshing for women to wear a sheath dress or a full tea party skirt with a flirty top, capris with a blouse and flats, or a button down shirt with a pencil skirt combined with tasteful makeup, accessories and pumps.  And, instead of the standard uniform of blue jeans, mix it up with flower hued jeans or classic stovepipe black pants with kitten heels or flats.

Spring and Summer 2012 fashion, once again, captures the mood of the times spurring on creativity, artistic endeavors with apparel vibrancy and fun.  Put away blue jeans, black sweaters, sweats and tennis shoes.  And, say hello to a sunny day with a mint julep and invigorating apparel for Spring and Summer 2012.
    

I.  The Sunkist South Pacific:  Dazzle in hot and vibrant hues ranging from scorching orange, lemony yellow, electric fuchsia, radiant turquoise, vivid green and citrus orange.

II. Flowers Reign Supreme:  Grace silky fabrics in dresses, tops and capris with roses, daffodils, tulips, peonies and abstract flowers in wondrous colors . The movie, The Help, is a perfectly pretty example or the hit show, Downton Abbey.  These southern women and English doyennes know how to move mountains, change the landscape and understand the fine art of appearances and overall presentation.

III. Champagne Tinted Downton Abbey Lux: Consume shades of whipped cream and foamy cappuccino white and beige in delicate fabrics. Other hues to embrace this season are pale pink and blush pink. Envision a pale hued blouse, ropes of pearls with a tan pencil skirt or black pants.  A classic statement.
    

IV. White Hot Blouse: Basic white shirt is a must have in every one's closet. Sumptuously elegant when combined with a pencil skirt, pumps and pearls. Pair with black and add a pop of bright with a scarf or jewelry for a stunning ensemble.

V.  The Get Smart Transforming Trench: Choose an expensive quality black trench for year round usage. Additionally, invest in a cheaper yet colorful trench that brightens a gray rainy day. The over the rainbow hues bring smiles, while beige or black seal any business deal.

VI.  The Upper Crust Sheath: Grace Kelly, Jackie 'O, Audrey Hepburn all owned a sheath dress.  A classic red sheath number with red lips, red nails and nude pumps is screen siren memorable.

    



VII.  The Must Own Black & White:  Black and white apparel is a required staple in a wardrobe.  A black jacket and a white blouse with a yellow jacket is bumblebee buzz perfection.  The "Little Black Dress" can be worn over and over again combined with a creamy white strand of pearls.  This ensemble will never be forgotten.
    

VIII.  The Hot Button-Down Blouse:  The button- down blouse is a hot item this spring.  Purchase a playful striped or flower button-down blouse in brilliant infused hues, flip the collar up, add jewelry, white pants and presto - Forever Chic Style ready to shine for the day.

IX.  Add Safari Leopard:  Spice up any ensemble with a leopard print blouse, purse, jacket or pants for a roaring good time.  Of course, not all together!

X.  Glittering Jewels:  Indulge in color infused jewelry in bracelets, necklaces and earrings.   Keep the crown jewels minimal yet bright and cheery.  Gold is warm and silver is cool. Mix and match.
