Forever Chic Style Runner-Up

Anne Hathaway: “Retro Golden Goddess” Hathaway bar non screams Hollywood movie star siren over and over again.    The Armani Prive shimmering copper fitted gown emphasized this goddess’s svelte silhouette along with softly curled long hair and a red delicious smile.   The long glittering sleeves and puffed shoulders were novel and reminiscent of the 1980’s.   The haute couture ensemble and a saucy personality are the key ingredients for this soon to be Oscar Award Show host on Sunday, February 27, 2011.

Forever Chic Style Queen

Effortlessly exudes confidence, smart and sophisticated elegance, poise and manners.  Everyone stops, turns and listens

Angelina Jolie:  "Emerald Lioness”   The limo car opens and Hollywood’s famous movie star couple alights to a commotion of camera’s and screaming fans.  Jolie in an Atelier Versace emerald green sparkler with long-sleeves and a cinched -in waist with pointed shoulders created an unforgettable vision.  The makeup emphasized the green eyes and the hair strategically draped over one shoulder created a lioness image.    Along with Jolie, Pitt, her leading man, also exuded movie madness chemistry dressed like a King in a black tux, white shirt, shades and bow tie.   As they skirted the runway, this movie star couple edged over to sign autographs.

King Henry VIII – A Visual Mess

Later in life, Henry was seen visually as a messyet was told how debonair handsome and charming his appearance and actions were to the world

Helena Bonham Carter: "Wickedly Mad” Bonham Carter was truly mad to wear this over the top Vivienne Westwood creation for a red carpet affair. The crazy patterned fabric and black tulle with one red shoe and one green shoe, rats nest hair with Beatles sunglasses was frightfully dreadful.   There are rules for black tie events and even Bonham Carter who starred in The Kings Speech, in the role of Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother, knows the difference between tacky and elegantly stylish.  After all, she is brilliantly British.  Why the court jester rather than a queen?   Or perhaps Bonham Carter’s role in 2010 as The Queen of Hearts, known as The Red Queen in Alice in Wonderland was the muse for the evening?  Alice’s dad in Alice in Wonderland, was right when he said to Alice though this should have been said to Helena Bonham Carter, "You're mad, bonkers ... but I'll tell you a secret: All the best people are."   Bonham Carter fortunately or unfortunately did stand out in the crowd on this night, just like King Henry VIII.  And, similar to King Henry VIII charismatic persona, Helena Bonham Carter’s name was on everyone’s lips! How charminly brilliant - if I must say myself.  Brilliant!
